What's on Your Bookshelf?

With eReaders, tablets, and smart phones it seems like people just don't read books as often anymore and that is just a shame. Part of it is that books are just cool. The other aspect is that not everything great can be found in an eBook. Think of all that brotastic wisdom you might be missing out on!

No worries. We here at Manwall decided to get together a list of great books you should have in the house. Some are useful and others are fun, but they are all really useful to have around the house. We skipped the classics like Catcher in the Rye and 1984 but if you want a list of the classics you are on the wrong site buddy.

1.     The Bro Code by Barney Stinson - The master has provided his disciples access to his code. Learn and be bro.

2.     The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks by David Embury - This book is old school and combines excellent recipes with a little bit of cocky flavor. It is a must have for anyone who wants to really know their stuff about mixology.

3.     Seven Habits of Highly Effective People - Nothing wrong with some self improvement to make all apsects of your life better.

4.     The Joy of Cooking - Just get the damn book. More than likely at some point you will need to whip up something for a girl and having a handy reference book that you can spill things on in the kitchen is a lifesaver!

5.     The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams - Just some fun science fiction that is a strange trip.

6.     Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki - This is a timeless classic about what every guy needs to know about finances. It is the bible of finance.

7.     Shogun by James Clavell - Hey not everything is instructional. Some books are just bad-ass like this one about medieval Japan.

8.     She Comes First by Ian Kerner - Seriously this is a solid blueprint on making sure your lady is satisfied with a capital S.

9.     King of the World by David Remnick - A great book the details Ali in all his boxing glory.

10. The Art of War by Sun Tzu - Classic military literature that has applications in everyday life.
