Top 10 Guy TV Shows to Watch in 2012

With football season just about in the books, women are once again trying to claim the remote control for themselves and Real Housewives. Luckily, you don't have to move off your couch or be subjected to Jersey Shore marathons because TV is no longer simply a reality show delivery system. There are plenty of new shows and old shows hitting the small screen, here are the top 10 that every guy needs to see!

10. Game of Thrones

This violent and sexy HBO series follows the power struggle between the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Between the rich and powerful trying to screw each other over, war, sex, and the supernatural there is more than enough to keep every guy tuning in - the only problem is keeping up!

9. Comic Book Men

Kevin Smith teams up with AMC to bring the world into Smith's Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash comic book shop. If you are a comic book geek or just a Kevin Smith fan, be sure to catch this unscripted comedy right after The Walking Dead.

8. Alcatraz

Just a few episodes in and this J.J. Abrams "spooky island mystery drama" is already one of the most popular shows in the country. The series follows crime stoppers Rebecca Madsen, Doc Soto, and Emerson Hauser as they take on former Alcatraz prisoners who disappear and reappear.

7. Unsupervised

FX is going back to the animation well with Unsupervised, an edgy comedy about two 15-year-old boys attempting to grow up without any parental supervision. The show was created by David Hornsby (Rickety Cricket on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and is executive produced by the It's Always Sunny gang.
