Netflix BroPicks for May 17

Are you tired of the same tired chick flicks and rewatching shows over and over? Want to see something that doesn't have Matthew McConaughey in it? Luckily the Manwall staff has been watching copious amounts of Netflix to make sure we bring you the best BroPicks each week. Let's see what we've rounded up for this week:

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels: Last week we featured Snatch, probably the best Guy Ritchie movie. Today we feature Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, the Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham film that started it all. When four working class guys lose half a million pounds they don't have to some guys you don't want to owe money to, they have just a week to come up with the cash. They try to rob some guys who are robbing some guys but get involved in a classic web of scams that you just have to see.

How It's Made: Ever want to know how they make helicopters? Liquor? Solar panels? How It's Made is an incredibly addictive Science channel show that goes inside the factories for just about everything you can think of. From ridiculous cool stuff like fiber optics and video games to the mundane like tooth picks and lamination, you can catch 7 of the show's 19 seasons on Netflix.

High Anxiety: If you love Hitchcock, Mel Brooks parodies, or Mel Brooks parodies of Hitchcock films, you have to catch High Anxiety. A spoof of Vertigo, Psycho, and The Birds, Mel Brooks plays Dr. Richard Thorndyke, a psychologist in the Institute for the Very, VERY Nervous. He investigates some suspicious goings on while dealing with his own “high anxiety” issues. A hilarious 70s-era parody.

Rescue Me: In Rescue Me, Denis Leary is all man. The show is set in a New York firehouse where Denis Leary and a gang of hilarious firemen struggle with all types of drinking, female, and work issues and eventually open a bar. As a fan, I have to say that seasons 1-4 are great and then there's quite a drop off but you can catch all 7 seasons on Netflix.

Jackass 3: Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the gang reunite for one final(?) plethora of debauchery. Ever want to see what happens if you play tetherball with a beehive? Wondering if you should use super glue to wax your chest? How about just watching Steve-O get launched into the air while inside a porta-potty? Jackass 3 is exactly what you expect it to be and the guys never disappoint.
