Top 12 Guy Movies to Watch in 2012

While movies seem to be getting worse and worse, 2012 gives us all hope that this year will be better. With a full slate of unoriginal sequels and remakes, most of this year's films will likely be as awful as last year's but let's look at 12 movies that every guy can get excited about:

12. Red Tails: George Lucas has been working on this film for nearly 25 years and the story of the Tuskegee Airmen is finally hitting theaters this month. Cuba Gooding Jr. aside, this Lucas-produced flick has more aerial action than Star Wars.

Expected Release Date: January 20

11. Neighborhood Watch: This Seth Rogen written Sci-Fi comedy stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade as a neighborhood watch group that has to stop a plot that threatens the whole world.

Expected Release Date: July 27

10. Wrath of the Titans: The sequel to Clash of the Titans will surely give CGI geeks more than enough to wet themselves over. In this one, Perseus has to rescue Zeus from Kronos, Hades, and Ares and the studio is already planning a sequel to this film as well.

Expected Release Date:  March 30

9. Looper: Stay with me here. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a hitman in the present who works for the mob in the future. The mob sends people back in time and he kills them. That is, until they send back Bruce Willis who is the future version of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Dun, dun, dun.

Expected Release Date: September 21

8. Abraham Lincoln - Vampire Hunter: While most know him as the 16th president, few know him for his moonlighting as a vampire hunter. Should have read your history books instead of getting high all through school. Note: Mary Todd Lincoln is surprisingly super hot.

Expected Release Date: June 22

7. Ted: Seth MacFarlane hits the big screen but unfortunately brings Mark Wahlberg along for the ride. What's the film about? Mark Wahlberg hangs out with a vulgar slacker bear who cockblocks him and Mila Kunis.

Expected Release Date: July 13

6. Act of Valor: Pretty interesting concept as this film combines your basic war film with footage of actual Navy SEALs. In this one, a group of SEALs head out on a covert mission to Yugoslavia to save a CIA agent and kick some terrorist ass.

Expected Release Date: February 24

5. Skyfall: It's the 23rd, yes, 23rd installment of James Bond and the third for Daniel Craig. This one also features Javier Bardem as the villain and Naomie Harris as Eve while Daniel Craig has to sort some serious shit out after MI6 is attacked.

Expected Release Date: November 9

4. The Avengers: This Joss Whedon joint brings together all your favorite Marvel characters like Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America. It also features a stacked cast of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Sam Jackson.

3. Savages: Oliver Stone is back, for better or worse. In Savages, two marijuana growers try to rescue their shared girlfriend from the Mexican drug cartel and is expected to hit theaters this September.

Expected Release Date: September 28

1. The Dark Knight Rises: The final film of the Batman trilogy takes place eight years after the last film left off. Batman returns to Gotham to find Selina Kyle and stop Bane from destroying the city.
